I don't really have a comment on the McKinney thing, I can see both sides of that issue. However, it got me to thinking. When I was a teen and we had parties that were going to be loud and unruly, we found places to have them that were out of site (as much as possible) from the prying eyes of adults (Barns, pastures, ponds, lakes, rented locations). Even at that, the cops would still end up showing up to show "the rowdy teens" who was boss.
It seems weird to me that is has become acceptable for teens to attempt these types of get togethers with DJ's and loud music in the middle of a subdivision, where boring grown ups and small children are attempting live out their non-teenage lives.
