Davis Martin will get the Friday (Thursday) night start again this week. Today's game will not be televised, but Saturday's game (final game of series) will be shown on FSSW+. OU comes in on a one game losing streak, after dropping one to to Oral Roberts, 5-0. However, they won their previous 6 games, including 1 win against Long Beach State (to avoid a sweep), one game against Fresno State, and a sweep of Bakersfield.
OU enters today with an overall record of 11-10-1 on the year; they have under performed so far. Alec Hanson will start today. Remember last year, we almost knocked him out in, I believe the first inning, before he got out of it and ended up going the distance, embarrassing us the rest of the way. He is 0-3 on the year with a 6.05 ERA. With him being a fastball pitcher, we need to jump out on him early and often.
