Tech lost to Baylor this evening to keep their streak alive. They have now lost 20 conference matches in a row and 27 out of the last 28 stretching back to the 2015 season. However, I was impressed with the determination they played with tonight. They came from behind to win the second set, and then in the fourth set they were down 21-11 but kept on fighting when they could have mailed it in. I think they lost the fourth and final set 25-19. They will win some conference games this year, and they only have one senior on the team, with several freshmen playing a lot.
I think the new (second year) coach has got them moving in the right direction now. He brought in several new players via transfers to add to the talent pool.
