Tonight at halftime Texas Tech will honor Luke Gonsioroski, the quarterback from Montana that was set to walk-on here. Luke recently passed away from cancer and Kliff Kingsbury has worn his initials for every game since then.
Luke's family will be in attendance and there will be a memorial scholarship set up in Luke's name that will be announced as well. There has been a group that has already raised 25k for the initial endowment and that group will match the first 37k in addition to that.

This young man clearly made a huge impact on several in the Texas Tech community, including Kliff Kingsbury. Glad to see this happening.
