As I reported HERE, Tech was set to host Stephens on a virtual visit soon which they completed earlier today.
I reached out for comment and Donovan had the following to say...
"Yes sir I did (have a phone call with the staff). It went really well, mainly letting my dad get a sense of how, what and who Texas Tech is."
I asked if the extension of the dead period has affected his recruitment timeline...
"It did change my timing for sure but I haven't put too much thought into it. I will pretty soon."
My FutureCast remains on Tech and while Stephens holds 7 offers I maintain it's a Tech/OSU battle for now.
