Zach Clemence and his mom will take an unofficial visit to Tech tomorrow. Zach is currently ranked as a 4-star prospect and the #55 player in the 2021 class. He is originally from San Antonio, TX, and is currently looking for a new prep school to go to as Findlay Prep is shutting their basketball program down for this season.

Zach's brother used to go to Tech too and is a big fan of Tech's basketball program.

I reached out to Zach for a quick Q&A.

What coaches from Tech have you been in contact with?

"I have heard from Brian Burg and other members of the coaching staff."

What are you most looking forward to on your visit tomorrow?

"I'm looking forward to tomorrow's visit to establish a relationship with the coaching staff."

What are your thoughts on Tech's Final Four run last season?

"I thought it was great, it really made me happy to see a Texas school go that far."

What other schools are you hearing from the most in your recruitment?

"My mom is tracking my recruitment and I am focused on working out and getting better, so wherever I go I'm ready to play. It's hard to discuss the colleges that contact me because there have been so many since June 15th at 12:01 a.m."

*note: June 15th at 12:01 a.m. is when college coaches could officially contact prospects in the 2021 class

Along with an offer from Texas Tech, Clemence also holds offers from Oklahoma, Baylor, TCU and Kansas among others.
