All we have heard for the last few years is how much speed we have recruited. I don't doubt that our team speed has improved some, but to me, it simply doesn't translate or flash at ANY of the skill positions. J'koby Williams is the lone exception, as he has shown flashes of being dynamic. We have decent speed at WR, but it isn't explosive speed at all.
As I sit here and watch SMU play, I am amazed at how fast their skill guys appear. They have true explosive play making ability, and it's not just 1 or 2 guys. They are littered with guys who flash.
Maybe this is just me in my "I miss Jakeem" feelings, but we need more like him. They are out there. We just need to bring them in.
