Texas Tech junior wide receiver Reginald Davis was booked in the Lubbock County Detention Center yesterday around Noon for possession of marijuana. He was released later in the evening.
Texas Tech released the following statement to us this morning: "We are aware of the situation regarding Reginald Davis. We are in the process of gathering information."
From a football standpoint, early indications are that this issue will be handled internally and Davis will not be removed from the program.
