I had a chance to watch Rider scrimmage Rock Hill, a new HS in Prosper, last night.
Castles is confirmed tall, at 6-ft-7 'and a half' and 230-lbs - he creates a mismatch across the entire field, lining up at outside receiver / inside receiver / blocking from the line or backfield...the Rider coaches move him all over the offense, and he confirmed after the game that he will play DE this season in certain situations or matchups.
most D1 kids are athletic and all of that, but Castles' grit/nastiness or whatever we want to call it was on display...he is a bully in the blocking game and you love to see it.
now that I have seen both Castles and Tharp in person, I'm a believer in what could be with both of them in the lineup together. both guys are 6-ft-7 and 6-ft-8, but both prospects are very athletic and have great hands.
