He will definitely be a starting tackle this season. Look for Josh Burger to be moved inside to guard.
From an interview I did with TJ last week...
On Texas Tech...
"I am very interested in Texas Tech. Have spoken frequently with coach Wells and coach Farmer, and was already very close with coach Cumbie. I have many options but UNC, Texas Tech, Penn State, Texas, ASU, and some other ACC teams to name a few."
On timeframe for a decision...
"I had no plans to leave TCU until a few weeks ago. Had AP 2nd team All-Big 12 and very much enjoyed my time there. Unfortunately there were trust issues and I wanted to develop for one more year with people I trusted and who believed in me as player. I hope to have decision in next few days."
Storment started seven games for TCU this fall and played in a total of 420 snaps, per PFF. His grade on the season was a 69.3, which would have placed him 3rd among Texas Tech lineman behind only Jack Anderson (78.8) and Dawson Deaton (74.8).
Storment really excels in pass protection, where he received a season grade of 81.0. The previous year at Colorado State his pass protection graded out at a 80.4, so that was no fluke.
Here are some of his highlights from his junior season at Colorado State. He was a senior at TCU this past season, but the NCAA ruling on eligibility allows him to play another season of college football which he has elected.
