Texas Tech was the first team to secure a top 8 finish. I had been trying to figure out where he saw that but since he said he normally doesn't look at that since they are playing well and there was no need to try to see where they were because he felt secure. I think I found out where. Boyds World has an RPI needs section that lays out what needs to happen to get to the Top 45, 32, 16 and Top 8 in the RPI. Interesting to see that even Oregon State hasn't clinched a top 8, key word being YET!
