It's back for its fifth tourney. If you haven't heard, there is an annual tournament made up of 72 teams with a chunk of the teams being alumni squads from DI universities across the nation – all playing for a $2 million prize – The Basketball Tournament.
That prize is divided up too by the winner. 90 percent of the prize goes to the team while the other 10 goes to fan supporters!
The bracket is split up by regions. Most teams are fan supported unless you're the tournament's previous champion or you buy your team in for $5,000. The main part of this is to expose the tourney and to support your alumni.
Right now, The Matadors, Tech's alumni team, is in 33rd place. In order to be an automatic bid, a team needs to finish within the top-9 in voting. This year's team features Justin Gray and Niem Stevenson. You can see the entire roster on the team's TBT website.
So you know what to do now.
