Student Loan question....

We are having to go the loan route this year, unfortunately.

We went through a private lender (Wells Fargo) my daughter's 2nd year and the interest rate is no bueno. Going through gov't only seems to cover tuition, but we are looking at needing some help on the room/board front as well.

Any advice? Are there better private lenders out there that you have used?
