so on Thursday afternoon I start running a fever. My 11 month old daughter the previous weekend had a fever off and on and even after taking her to an urgent care center we were told is just a virus and it’ll run it’s course. As of last Tuesday my daughter no longer had a fever. Whew.
So when I come down with the fever on Thursday I’m thinking no big deal it’s just a virus and it’ll need to run it’s course in 4 ish days. Let me tell you fellas this weekend was absolutely terrible, but I thought there’s nothing they’re going to do for me so I just gotta deal with it.
Sunday my tonsils started to swell up real bad and I decided fine I’ll go to the urgent care center first thing Monday morning. Turns out I have Strep. So I’m real mad at myself right now for not going in on Friday or Saturday to be checked out because had I done that I’d feel a lot better than I currently do after just starting the antibiotics this morning. I definitely should’ve been on them 2 to 3 days earlier.
So I basically feel like a real big idiot. What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done lately.
