Probably the best column I've read to date on Baylor and any NCAA sanctions by Mac Engel, who has been a consistent and rightful thorn in Baylor's side through the whole scandal.

He asks the same questions that many here are, namely, why does the NCAA even exist if no punishment is handed down, what kind of loss of credibility will the organization have if Baylor just goes on its merry way? He hints that's one reason Rhule recruited so well was telling players that nothing will happen.

He believes punishment is coming, and says two Baylor sources are bracing for it though it make take awhile when Baylor gets "O.Jed," meaning a harsher sentence for certain infractions knowing they got away with bigger ones.
