Will update as they come in...

“It’s a college town. Everyone seemed genuine and honest. The spring game was pretty cool. I see a lot of opportunity for me to play early and help the team after watching the game.

I love the energy and animation Coach Randolph has. I talk to coach Preston Pehrson daily and both coach (Matt) Wells and coach Randolph 3-4 times a week.

I also had some Hub city wings and went to the drive in movie. That was pretty cool.”

"This weekend I hung out with my brother Tre'Jon Lewis, he plays for Tech. We went to a few restaurants, ate some great food. The spring game was amazing especially the one-on-ones, loved every minute of it."

Thoughts on seeing Lubbock for the first time

"My first thought about Lubbock is that I loved the people there, they all were nice and explained how passionate about the city they are."

On the spring game

"Spring game was cool, got to see how they ran everything and where I would fit in at. I was looking at the QB's and their strengths and weaknesses. I loved that the coaches give the players a chance to make plays. I got some gear from their sale and the thing that stood out to me was the player bond on both sides of the ball."

On a return visit

"I have an official visit June 25th-27th."

What he was able to do this weekend

"I was able to experience the feeling of being at Texas tech and enjoyed the amazing spring game, also loved the competition. What stood out to me was the fans at Tech. The fans at Tech is like no other they were very welcoming, kind hearted and made the experience even better."

Thoughts on the spring game

"The spring game was amazing I love the competition and the way the players bonded together. The things I was looking out for was how the coaches interacted with the players, I also was looking at the defensive backs and how they play their different coverages. One thing I loved was the energy I loved the high pace energy and how hype the players got when something good happened."

"I just went to the game with my friend and then we went to eat. It was really good! I thought it was fun watching the offensive line, especially Landon Peterson because I workout with him in the summer. It was cool to get to see him compete."

On his recruitment and Texas Tech

"Things are pretty good with Tech, I’ve recently only talked with Coach Farmer, he usually reaches out every now and then to see how I’m doing. He called me a few days ago inviting me to go check out the spring game. He said he really wanted to meet me but we can’t just yet because the dead period is still in effect."

Thoughts on the spring game

"I had an absolute blast at the spring game. The environment is unbelievable and it definitely suits what I want out of a college. The support at Texas Tech is insane which makes for a great time. The whole time I just watched the OL and I loved how they communicated and how they use controlled aggression to dominate. I most definitely believe that I would strongly fit that position."

On a potential return visit

"I would love to go on an official visit this summer and check things out then go for another unofficial visit during the season to go check out a home game. Nothing is set, but I’d love to set up some future dates for these visits."

What he got to do this weekend

"This weekend I got to go to the Texas Tech spring game and it was super exciting to watch. What really stood out to me was the energy from the players and fans around me."

Thoughts on the spring game

"I thought it was a great experience for me to watch next level players compete against each other. I was there to watch my big brother, Chux Nwabuko III, play and it was amazing to see him out on the field getting at it."

On a potential return visit

"I will be returning for sure in the near future but I have not yet discussed about official visits with my family yet."
