15. Texas Tech Red Raiders
SN took some heat in April by leaving out the Red Raiders in a way-too-early top 25 projection, but at that point they barely had a roster. Sure, they had the coach who carried the program to the NCAA championship game, Chris Beard, but they were losing the stars of that team. After adding grad transfers Chris Clarke and TJ Holyfield, as well as freshman wings Jahmi’us Ramsey and Terrence Shannon, and returning Final Four vets Davide Moretti and Kyler Edwards, we can be persuaded there’s enough in place for Beard to perhaps perform another miracle.
