Alright so who saw it and what yall think?
I thought the story line was good but the acting was awful. I thought they had the actors in the wrong place. Pascal should’ve been the main character with Denzel as General Acasia.
The main character didn’t have any real character building to me compared to Crowe in #1 and you aren’t really rooting for him. Mescal isn’t nearly a strong enough actor for that role imo.
CGI was surprisingly bad as well. The rhino/rider was pretty bad. The sharks really bad. The baboons, what the heck was that??? Overall really surprising for a Ridley Scott movie how bad those pieces were.
Overall an entertaining and decent movie I probably wouldn’t watch again.
I’d go 5/10 but it’s biased because #1 is a top 10 movie for me and it doesn’t hold a candle to that but is instantly compared to it
