While the season is still young, I have to say I was impressed with the special team play against SFA.
We had solid tackling, directional punting, situational punting, and actual punt returns.
I don't know who said it first, but I know I heard it first from Jimmy Johnson when he was with the Cowboys in the 90's: there were three aspects of winning a football; offense, defense, and special teams. If you win two of those three you stand a great chance of winning the game.
So far it has been good to see Tech put in a solid effort in a forgotten pillar of a winning team.
