Level 0 = yourself. It's you, you are the source. You witnessed something directly with your own two eyes. Emperical observation. e.g. I was on the plane and Butterteef Mack Brown started swinging on Scott Drew over who got the last apple cider.

Level 1 = someone who should know told you directly. A player or coach you know told you personally about something. e.g. Ronald Ross told me the new power forward is a 6'8, 260 pound diesel verson of Zhaire Smith who runs like a gazelle and has range out to 30 feet but likes to mix it up on the glass.

Level 2 = someone who should know heard it directly from the source. e.g. Kent Hance told you what the coach told him.

Level 3 = I read it on another board or hack readio broadcast speculation, heard it second hand, allegedly on an edited podcast translated from Hungarian to English by a non-native French speaker from India. You time traveled to or back to the future.

Level 4 = I dreamed it in my head.
