I was able to visit with someone that has covered Arkansas for years and asked him about Texas Tech's newest wideout.
"Extremely elusive player who would have been a player at Arkansas had his attitude not gotten in the way. They repeatedly had issues with him, gave him second chances and ultimately kicked he and kid named Kendrick Edwards off the team. Basically Bielema said they had everyone on the team doing the right thing, showing up on time, etc but those two couldn’t get straight.
I suggested that maybe he's learned from his time away and a change of scenery.
"Hope so, world of talent...though in one of his ‘congrats replies’ I saw he posted CMG as the tag...which means Crenshaw Mafia Gangster, so. But, Maybe he's a gamer and they use it for ‘call me god’. Who knows. Talent wise, he has the most upside of any slot receiver Bielema has had at Arkansas."
So there ya go. Hopefully he's grown up some because he's very clearly a freakish talent. I'm told that Robinson will start out as an inside receiver here but will ultimately play wherever he can help the quickest and be the most effective.
