I think it’s pretty easy in all the hoopla from yesterday’s game against Kansas to forget the Red Raiders has Khavon Moore in town, who legitimately is one of the best prospects to ever visit Lubbock for basketball.
From what we’ve heard, sounds like he’s had a GREAT visit this weekend. Everything went well, and I think you guys as fans, creating a great atmosphere on campus and around town all weekend were a part of that.
It sounds like Tech is in great shape right now with him. Really great.
And let’s think about this, too: With the seniors this team loses, and with what comes back, he’s the kind of player who could come in and make an impact from day one. He’s a legit 6-8, 6-9 prospect that’s long and is VERY skilled on the offensive end, both as a shooter and a passer. Could be a point forward for you.
With the way Jarrett Culver and Zhaire Smith are playing right now, and with adding Corprew, CJ Roberts, and Kyler Edwards to the mix already, bringing in an Uber talented piece like Moore - who might then be the most talented player on the team - would really get this roster cooking with gas.
Again, I think Tech absolutely put their best foot forward and is in great shape here.
