Good column by Sports Illustrated's Pat Forde on situation at Kansas. Basically, the top athletic administrators at KU knew T.J. Grassnola of Adidas was very bad news, but took no steps to stop his association with the basketball program other than talk about it to themselves. They just let Self do anything he wanted.
Man, KU is dirty and it would seem like they have smoking gun texts that prove that. Forde concludes this "could result in massive penalties for both school and coach."
I'll say this, if KU gets off with just a slap on the wrist, if I'm a coach and athletic department, I just start cheating my ass off. Then deny and deny and lawyer up.
