We came out sleep walking in Lawrence and got our butts handed to us in the first half. Did way better in the second half, but dug too deep a hole to really have a chance.
But since then...
We've won by 31, 12, 28, and 27 points. And the 12 point win was 23 with 5:30 left and we let up. 2 games at home, 2 games on the road. Granted, they've mostly been on the bottom third of the conference, but those teams have also beaten some of the teams we are trying to knock off. That's dang good basketball.
We've also scored 81, 66, 78, and 86 points in that stretch. That type of offense will win almost any night when paired with our defense.
We play like this next Saturday, we knock off KU. They haven't been very good on the road.
But for now, its time to root for WVU and ISU.
