I would think that would have to be a first to be ranked like that to begin the season. Be great if they could take the next step to a Super Regional.
Tech plays 20 of first 21 on the road, though nearly all neutral site tournament games. Season opens Feb. 7, and don't play their second home game until March 6. Play preseason No. 1 Washington on Feb. 15, and rematch with LSU, which ousted them from the playoffs, on Feb. 27
