This is the theater of the absurd. Ridiculous enough that athletes can't violate the safe emotional spaces of UT by flashing a "Horns Down" sign, but now Oklahoma spirit squads have been "heavily encouraged" from doing the same thing.
Is this real life? I thought I was reading The Onion, but it's true. (I will say, however, it looks stupid to do it when you're not playing Texas, but that's another matter).
