From a personal standpoint. Last year while attending a few games , my wife often complained of chest pain and just feeling tired. As you know , going to a Tech game you can do a lot of walking. After the KSU game we got home and decided to have her go in for some test and get checked out. Everything came back ok but we wanted to do a stress test just to make sure. She had problems doing the test and was only able to last a couple of minutes. They said she had some blockage and scheduled to have stents put in on Friday November 3rd. Surgeon determined the blockage was too much and stents would not work. We are sitting in the recovery room and he comes in saying she needs triple bypass surgery. Surgery was on the 7th. Surgery went great and she's a fighter and recovery while tough , went great. We have been to a couple of games this year and she gets around no problem. But this game Saturday just 2 days after the 1 year anniversary of her surgery will be special and we are so thankful from where she is today as opposed to where she was last year.
