MSS:

- These last three make-up games were big to get rescheduled. They feel like things are clicking now and they're going to ride into Waco with the mindset to finish the season strong.

- After the Oklahoma State game he challenged himself to be better for his teammates. He hit the gym, practice and film room hard to turn things around individually. He finished with 14 points, seven rebounds and two fouls.

Beard:

- Opening up by thanking the crowd again. Says ISU is short-handed and it doesn't sit well with him when the best players are sitting out in March. He wishes them luck down the stretch. He thinks Tech played well and they're trying to get off to a good start to begin March. He didn't like the turnovers or offensive rebounds. Defensively, they tried hard but had untimely mistakes. A Big 12 team will expose those mistakes. But, they were dialed in tonight.

- He acknowledged the student section for giving them a home-court advantage. "They're becoming Texas Tech basketball and that was by design.

- Beard says the first meeting against Baylor they played well but didn't make the plays down the stretch. Above all he wants to see aggressiveness. He wants them to enjoy the opportunity they have ahead of them.

- When asked if he wants to play in the first round Beard said he'll play the games they ask them to. "I just want to play." He brings up not being able to coach Davide, Holyfield, Clarke last year in the Big 12 tourney, added it was not a great feeling.

- MSS has two fouls over the last three games. They've had three signature wins on this streak. That's not by coincidence. Beard saying he's trying really hard and is playing with discipline on defense.

-Beard with a lot of great words about former player Parker Hicks. He was named conference player of the year over at Lubbock Christian.

P.S. these never posted last night and I blame @Taft33
