I would love to see Ruffin back at Texas Tech. He was the defensive coordinator here in 2008 and 2009, arguably the two best defenses we have had in 15 years. The players loved him, he is a phenomenal motivator and a good recruiter. As much credit as Mike Leach gets for the 2008 season, I'd argue that Ruffin's defense is what turned an average 8-4 Texas Tech team into the 11 game winner! Yeah, I know...Harrell, Crabtree and the incredible offensive line had something to do with it, too. I miss Ruffin!
