We were 4-2 overall against him while he was at SMU 1976-1981. Big upset in 1980 14-0. They were ranked pretty high and our record was maybe 5-5 that year under Rex Dockery. Never will forget when Dickerson and James were freshmen in 1979 another freshman Charles Waggoner from Dallas TJ outrushed both of them with over 900 yards. He had a career ending injury and never played again.
