OU: Most talent in the conference, but are 1-2 and their fans don't think Lincoln Riley can develop a QB. Lincoln is also the betting favorite to be the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons next year.
UT: Second most talent in the conference this year, maybe even the most. 1-2 and their fans don't give the team or staff any credit for their lone conference win. A senior-laden team and the best QB they've had in 10 years will be wasted. Their AD met with the team last night for a stern lecture re: why they need to stay on the field for the Eyes of Texas, which the team believes has racist connotations. Their head coach is clinging for life, and there's a non-zero chance UT will be competing with OU in the search for a new coach during a post-Rona offseason.
TCU: Gary Patterson is 19-20 in his last 5 years in the Big 12. Despite having talent on offense & some handsomely-paid offensive coordinators, their offense has been abysmal for years. Every off season brings allegations of player abuse. They are about to lose out on a legacy OL prospect that they wanted really badly.
Baylor: Infested with the ronies.
O$U: Winningest coach in school history is, somehow, always on the precipice of being fired, run off by their biggest donor, or cancelled by his own players for being a racist.
Texas Tech: Ran the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals out of town. And now has its idiotic fanbase wanting to fire his successor before 99% of CFB coaches have been fired in the last 40 years. Proof that this is the toughest P5 job in the state of Texas by a huge margin.
(sarcasm font... kind of)
