The 15th Masked Rider, Jess Wall, from Perryton passed away this morning. Jess was the MR in '76-'77, the Red Raider's first SWC championship. Although I was one year younger than his youngest son, I got to know him over the past few years in Lions Club and in business. There just arent many people better than him these days. He asked me to stop by an event for former masked riders a few years ago, and someone there told me Jess was the first person to put the reins in his mouth and ride with both guns up. They arent allowed to do that anymore due to safety concerns. Just a good dude.
