Drive Nation and Duncanville HS hosted 'Who Wants the Smoke' this weekend, an AAU tournament featuring some of the best players in the country. Several Texas Tech targets competed in the event and it was good to see those guys, many of them for the first time.

I was able to speak with offers Micah Robinson (2024), Brendan Hausen (2022) and Quion Williams (2022) following their games and will have those interviews separately.

It was impossible to watch everyone, as there were probably 8-10 games going on at once between both venues (nevermind the fact they're 20 minutes apart) but here are some guys who stood out.

Traore has been lighting up the AAU circuit this offseason and that continued today. Listed at 6'10" but just super athletic and he also hit two 3's in the game I watched. Great form. He came over from France and he's still new to the US, I think his potential is limitless. Kansas, UC-Santa Barbara and TCU have already offered and I expect several others to jump in. Texas Tech assistant coach Talvin Hester follows Traore on Twitter.

Pretty obvious, but this was my first time to see George live and he was absolutely worth the hype. Tremendous shooter. I think it's highly likely he goes G-League, but if he decides to go to school I'd expect both Texas Tech and Texas to be on his final list.

Another big man who really impressed me with his offensive game. Keller plays for Utah Prospects where he shares the floor with another Rivals150 big man (and another Tech offer) in Jaxon Kohler. Kohler is more of an inside presence with Keller being able to stretch the floor. Really like his potential as a modern day big man. Barret Peery recently offered Keller, hopefully his Utah connections can pay off.

After seeing Hausen, I'm 100% sold he would have been the best shooter on the team last season. I think he's the type of West Texas talent you have to keep at home, and I'm glad to see that Mark Adams reoffered here. Hausen played point guard for his team at times too, and is a good secondary creator. Good size at 6-foot-5. Sign me up.

I'm really happy to see Tech get on this guy early. He's the type of prospect who 2 years from now is nationally ranked and hopefully that early relationship can pay off. Physically and athletically he's already there but he's so young, still learning how to completely utilize his skillset. Really nice guy too and he seemed very excited about the offer. Remember the name.

Reynolds is a combo guard who Tech has started showing interest in. Offers from San Diego State, Tulsa, Northern Arizona and Montana so far, but more are coming. He's not a great shooter but good defender and facilitator who can play both on or off ball.
