So I think the dream of Beard having totally taken the program to the next level is gone for the year. Team is still good despite what some think just has some glaring holes and losing Odiase really hurt. So on that note what are your real expectations for basketball, football, baseball and any other sports teams?
Would love to hear from @raiderwill and @RRTracklover on the track and field as well. And anything about golf would be great as well.
Personally I think football is a total guessing game when we gain any sort of relevance again. It's been discussed plenty but I expect a coaching change next year.
Basketball- I think next year we will make the tournament with offensive improvements, some actual bigs and further evolution of current players. I think the following year will really be a great year when the talent we have coming in get to develop. I think Beard is a great coach and is going to do great things here.
Baseball- kind of a wild card waiting to see the offense. I'll say we finish 2nd behind TCU and lose in a super regional simply because going to the CWS 3 of 4 years is a tall order. Back to the CWS the following year and win it. Tadlock is going to fill the trophy case over his tenure.
