Because this is such a vital position, and demands the highest of integrity, why not slow the process to just make sure these allegations aren’t true???

If I was innocent of sexual assault and knew there was nothing to find, I would WANT an investigation to clear my name.
I just don’t understand why they can’t button this up with an investigation, clear his name, and appoint him?? For the record, I think that we need a conservative seat in the SC....I am just not sure it should be Cavanaugh. The position is just too important imo
