Some were asking about Desmon Smith, the DB from Odessa Permian that recently de-committed Texas State this past week.
I connected with Smith for an interview last night and he hasn't heard from the Tech coaches since camping with the program in Lubbock earlier this summer.
The coaches wanted to see him in person, so he camped with the team in Lubbock and felt he performed well, but has not heard back from the coaches since.
He went as far as to say Tech is the school he prefers attend, but also mentioned the lack of communication after the camp did bother him.
