ESPN has an article ticking down each program by its history. Not surprisingly, we are at the tail end of that. One interesting note was that Beard is the only coach we've had to make the Sweet 16 twice. That's not that surprising, but still impressive to do in 3 years on the job.
Also interesting that we've only had 10 NBA players come through Tech all-time. That number looks like it is about to start rapidly advancing.
Gonzaga is way too high in my mind. As much as we hate them, Houston has 1 less NCAA appearance, 3 more final fours, WAY more iconic players, and twice as many NBA guys. Recency bias playing a big role in that one.
