Many maynot know who he was but he is very likely the best golfer ever to come from West Texas. Has more course records on courses in this area than you can count. At least one is a 58. My father grew up with him and marveled at his abilities. He would tell me one story aboit the two of them playing and Dad shooting a 69 and got beat by 8.
