Williams was offered by the coaches a couple weeks ago. Today he had a zoom call with the entire defensive staff, just getting to know the coaches better.
He said the call went “really well” and that he’s started thinking of narrowing his options down.
When I asked where Tech stands in his recruitment, Williams replied “In my top 10”.
Tech has a lot of DB offers to highly ranked out of state recruits, but not much when it comes to in-state prospects. Expect them to stay after Williams and, as his only in-state Power 5 offer, be in the mix for his commitment all the way until Signing Day.
