William Clayton is a player, there is no shame here. He had to call on his inner Larry Bird to beat Tech, so kudos to him for having that in him. If you're young you can go look it up, how Bird dribbled away from a two pointer against Houston in the 1986 Finals just so he could stick a knife in their eye with a three pointer.
It's a heck of a shot if you can make it, and hardly anyone can make it but Clayton did. That's how basketball do.
