I loved how Colombi played last night, but his weaknesses and limitations (weak arm) don’t make it likely that the offense can truly take off with him under center.
Looking to next season, we’ll have Colombi, McIvor, Smith, and Morton as viable options. Any thought that Smith and/or Morton could potentially lead this team as early as next year? Growing pains will be expected, but I’d take them if it means giving a QB with high potential some playing time and development.
