Asking for some thoughts and prayers for my family. My Uncle Dwayne Clanton collapsed and died yesterday afternoon. I rushed to their house when it happened and watched them try to bring him back but with no luck. He was a great man, Red Raider, and mentor to me.
Some if you may know who he was, he owned Tom and Bingos BBQ on 34th street, a staple in Lubbock that has been here since 1954. I worked there for 10 years by his side from age 15-25. I spent 2000+ days with just me and him in that little store and learned so much from this man...he will be greatly missed. Please lift my Aunt and cousins up, they are a mess right now.
