Well, a pit bull in my neighborhood got away from it's owner, and absolutely shredded my neighbors dog yesterday. Completely unprovoked. Just got loose and went for the kill.
What's typical city protocol on something like this? If they can't control a dangerous animal like that, shouldn't it be mandatory to put the dog down?
