I'm going to be purchasing my first pistol soon and with that I'll need some place to store it when not hanging around my neck on a piece of yarn. I have two sons (9 and 7) that live with me, so obviously I want to make sure they are stored in a manner they won't be able to access them. I've been looking at Safes (will likely place in my closet, unless y'all have a better recommendation) and would like one that holds at least 2 pistols.
Right now I'm thinking of something like this:
But again, I'm a complete newb here so please feel free to give me your thoughts. Also, and suggestions on how and where to store ammo would be appreciated as well. TIA.
