There was a nice sailplane club at Littlefield run by Lubbock Doctor Jim Crist. He died.
Their non prof group was Caprock Soaring Club at Littlefield. So right out there is a ton of good stuff. A power instructor can teach sailplanes . I am trying to help Plainview but the kids there just are not sure what to do. They want me to build them a big hangar. I said , you told me you had tons of empty hangars. We do but no big ones. No more money going there until I see progress. But you guys that live in the area might move it along. I can try to guide you along. google Hamilton Soaring Club and look at the web page is you are interested. We have 90 member in a town about the size of Crosbyton. !! We have soloed 9 young teen girl and one of our boys is flying big time competition.
