In todays FW Star Tele. Pats Dad says no surgery. Nothing else.
Yesterday in paper it said KK said it looked like Pat would be ok, but needs more tests.
On TV on sideline, it showed him trying to throw a 8 yard pass. He was in no visible pain, but shook his head no, and they took him to dressing room.
So it did not look like a stinger, no pain. Maybe a sprain, but like a sprain on your ankle, it may take time. sometimes more than a break, sure hope not. At least we have a good backup. He checked into that play, shame he got caught from behind. He was caught a lot during that game. Maybe def. are figuring him out some. KK has been trying to get him to stay in pocket and take the reads. Other QB did that well.
Running QB are fun and a cheap way to make yards but in the end trouble over time. Lots of these QB all over now and by late season some will be on sidelines. Any doctors on here might comment . Great Tech coach, Dick Winder said, dont send Hummingbird QB into LB land, I think it was a LB that finally jumped on Pat, shame .
So we can hope he will be back soon.
