This release from Matt Dowdy, as several events are going on this weekend at the Coliseum in addition to games at Rip Griffin...
LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech is encouraging fans to arrive early this weekend for the Red Raiders' three-game series against Kansas State due to several events being held near Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
Tech is expecting increased traffic near the ballpark on both Friday and Saturday as the ABC Rodeo will be held at City Bank Coliseum while a Jehovah Witness conference will take place at City Bank Auditorium.
Because of the number of events, Red Raider fans will need to utilize parking options on campus other than the lots west of Jones AT&T Stadium. Those lots will be reserved for the City of Lubbock.
A complete parking map with details for all three games of the series is located below.
The Red Raiders enter the K-State series with a 5-1 record already in Big 12 play, their best start to conference action since the 1999 season. Tickets for the series are still on sale and can be purchased by calling 806-742-TECH or by visiting the Texas Tech Ticket Office website.
