2025 Pahalgam attack
On 22 April 2025, militants affiliated with The Resistance Front, an affiliate of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizbul Mujahideen, opened fire on a group of tourists at the Baisaran Valley in Jammu and Kashmir, India, and massacred at least 28 people and injured more than 20 others.
