Dumb thought, so why not share/ask it . . . say in the early 90s, the original Big 8 and SWC joined as the North and South so that OU and OSU are in the North. Without playing in Texas as often, does that negatively impact their recruiting any?
I just keep trying to find a way to send them North to not only balance the divisions, but to get their parasitical programs out of Texas. But that'd require adding 2 teams to the South that nobody wants and further waters down the conference.
