I had to make the decision that all of us pet owners hate. Maggie, our dachshund lived a long 16 years. I gave her to my wife back in 2007, about 6 months after we got married. She was our first "baby" as a couple. She was with us in anything that we did. I couldnt get any sleep last night and have been up since about 130ish. Cant get her off my mind, not a negative thing. Just hard to process it I guess. I am sure I will be better by the end of the day after more process time. Its hard to sit here in my office and type this as I normally just look over my shoulder and there she is. Yall hold your buddies tight, we only get so long with them, but remember that they give everything they have to us, and only us. When its that time, hold them through it so they are not scared. Its tough, but they have earned every bit of it.
